At Tapanila Sports Centre's shooting hall, families can try non-firearm target sports such as archery and Eco Aims rifle shooting. Individual places can be booked for open trials, and an instructor helps participants get started safely. The activities focus on concentration, aiming and calm technique, so this suits school-age children best when they can listen to instructions and take part under adult supervision.

- Opening-hours notes
- Open trials are arranged on varying days, with times published in the webshop about 2-3 weeks in advance. Tapanila Sports Centre's general opening hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-22:00, Saturday 10:00-22:00, and Sunday 10:00-20:00.
- Booking notes
- Places are bought through Tapanila Sports Centre's webshop. For juniors aged 8-17, use the campaign code JUNIORI in the webshop so the price changes to the child price.
- Price notes
- An open activity trial costs EUR 25 per trial for adults, or EUR 50 for consecutive trials. Juniors aged 8-17 pay EUR 15 per trial, or EUR 30 for consecutive trials.
- Age notes
- The recommended minimum age for all activity trials is 8. For archery and Eco Aims, children under 12 take part only with an adult. For knife throwing, under-18s take part only with an adult, so archery and Eco Aims are the clearest options for families with children.
- Seasonal notes
- As an indoor activity, shooting-hall trials can run year-round when booking times are available.
- Weather notes
- A good option for rainy, cold, and windy days because the trial takes place indoors.
