Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The museum is reached through Cable Factory’s Glass Courtyard. Exhibition spaces are on two floors, and the lobby has lockers, toilets, and a loft area where families can spend time and eat snacks. The Process space is free to enter when it is open.
- Opening-hours notes
- Official opening hours: Tue–Fri 11:00–19:00 and Sat–Sun 11:00–18:00. The museum is closed on Mondays. Ticket sales and admission end 30 minutes before closing. Check exceptional opening hours and exhibition changes before going.
- Booking notes
- Booking is usually not needed for a normal museum visit. Groups, guided tours, workshops, and events are booked separately through the museum.
- Price notes
- Paid for adults, but free for under-18s. The official page lists standard admission at €16, reduced admission at €6, the Cable Museums joint ticket at €21, and free entry with a Museum Card or for under-18s. Admission is also free on the last Wednesday of each month from 16:00 to 19:00.
- Age notes
- Best for children around 7–12 who are interested in images and can explore exhibitions calmly. Younger children may enjoy a short visit if an adult helps them look at and talk about the pictures.
- Seasonal notes
- Works year-round. Some exhibition spaces may close during exhibition changes.
- Weather notes
- A good rainy-day and cold-day option because the visit is indoors. Reaching Cable Factory may still include a short outdoor approach.
