Håkansböle Manor Museum tells the history of Håkansböle manor and its residents. The Art Nouveau main building was completed in 1908 and designed by architect Armas Lindgren, while the oldest buildings in the manor area date from the 1840s. The main building has a permanent exhibition, a small space for temporary exhibitions, and a museum shop. Free exhibitions may also open in the outbuildings during summer, but their dates and content vary. For families, this is a calm history and architecture visit. The exhibitions, old house, yard, and park are best when children can move with an adult from room to room and between buildings.

- The manor museum has three accessible parking spaces, a drop-off point, a signposted and lit route, and a separate accessible entrance with a lift and wheelchair platform lift. The main entrance still has at least four steps, thresholds over 2 cm, and a cramped vestibule. The customer-service floor has an accessible toilet and an induction loop. The second floor is reached only by stairs, but it can be viewed through a virtual tour. Outdoors, weather, gravel and yard surfaces, and thresholds in old buildings may affect movement with strollers or mobility aids.

- The manor area also has Cafe and Restaurant Håkans and Children's Cultural Centre Pyykkitupa, but their programmes and opening hours should be checked separately. Check summer exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, and other manor-area events on their own pages. Parking is limited: the visitor car park is at the corner of Vuorilehdontie and Kartanotie, and other parking in the manor area is only allowed in accessible parking spaces. By public transport, the walk from Hakunila centre is about 900 m, or about 250 m from Ravurinpolku stop when a suitable bus is running.
- Opening-hours notes
- The manor museum is closed on Mondays, open Tuesday to Friday 11–18, and open Saturday and Sunday 11–16. The museum is closed on Independence Day, 6.12.2026. Summer-exhibition dates and hours may differ from those of the main building. Check current details before going.
- Booking notes
- A normal self-guided museum visit does not need advance booking. Guided tours, workshops, group visits, and events in the manor area should be treated separately and checked from their own pages.
- Price notes
- Admission is EUR 16 / 8 / 0. Admission is free for visitors under 18. Museum Card, Kaiku Card, EU Disability Card, and ICOM card holders enter free. Outbuilding exhibitions that open during summer are free; cafe purchases, guided tours, and events may cost extra.
- Age notes
- Best for children around 5-12 who are interested in old houses, manors, local history, or small exhibitions. Younger children may enjoy the yard and park, but the indoor exhibitions require calm movement with an adult.
- Seasonal notes
- The free outbuilding exhibitions are a summer-only addition to a manor-museum visit, and their content and dates vary. The manor park is most pleasant for outdoor time when paths are clear of snow and ice.
- Weather notes
- The main-building museum works in rain and cold weather, but arrival, the yard, and the outbuildings involve outdoor movement. Rain, slippery conditions, or strong wind can shorten the visit, especially with a stroller.
