- Practical notes
- Start at Usmi beach parking area, Usminjärventie 206. Follow the 9.8 km route clockwise; the outward and return sections share about 2.5 km. Steep, rocky and partly wet ground calls for suitable footwear and hiking experience. Piilolammi's south-shore fireplace has been removed, and its recreation area has no waste collection.
- Seasonal notes
- The area's trails and campfire sites have no winter maintenance. Some paths form part of the winter ski-trail network.
- Weather notes
- Check current wildfire warnings before lighting a fire. Do not light an open fire during a warning.
