- Accessibility
- The accessibility information says there are no accessible parking spaces by the beach, and the nearest car park and pick-up/drop-off point are over 100 m away. The crushed-rock or sand route to the beach is rough but guided and wide enough. The accessible-marked toilet in the cafe does not meet all requirements, and the cafe and changing-room entrances have steps and high thresholds.

- Practical notes
- The beach is about a 20-minute walk from Rastila and Vuosaari metro stations, and it can also be reached by city bike. The beach does not have its own car park, but there is parking near Kallahden field. Check water temperature, blue-green algae status, and any restrictions on the beach day.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 beach season has ended. Dates and hours for summer 2027 services will be announced later. Check the City of Helsinki page before visiting.
- Booking notes
- A normal beach visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- The beach is free. Restaurant purchases cost extra.
- Age notes
- The sand, playground, and volleyball court suit many child ages. Young children need constant adult supervision near the water.
- Seasonal notes
- The best season is the summer beach season, when supervision and beach services operate.
- Weather notes
- A beach day depends on weather, water temperature, wind, and blue-green algae conditions.
