Children's Own Art Exhibition is open during July 2026 at Meilahti Manor's Dance Pavilion. Families can explore artworks made by children independently, and children can make a new artwork for the exhibition on site. Paper and drawing materials are ready to use, and staff hang the finished works on the walls at the end of the day.

- Accessibility
- Accessibility is a key limitation for the Dance Pavilion: official Helsinki Day information for the same site says Meilahti Art Hall is accessible, there is a ramp behind the manor but the spaces are not fully accessible, and the Dance Pavilion is not accessible. Check the route and space in advance if step-free access is essential.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The Dance Pavilion is the yellow building to the right of the Manor Cafe at Tamminiementie 8. The visit is self-guided and there is no instructor on site, so adults should allow time both to look at the artworks and for children to draw at their own pace.
- Opening-hours notes
- The exhibition is open 1.7.-31.7.2026 from Tuesday to Sunday at 11:00-18:00. The Dance Pavilion is closed on Mondays.
- Booking notes
- A self-guided exhibition visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- The exhibition has free entry.
- Age notes
- Families can visit with children of all ages. Making an artwork works best for children who can spend a short time drawing at a table; smaller children need adult support.
- Seasonal notes
- This is a temporary July 2026 exhibition, not a permanent activity. Check the official page before going and remove or archive the content after the exhibition period.
- Weather notes
- The exhibition is indoors and works for a rainy, cold, or windy day. Moving around the manor area still happens outdoors, so bring suitable clothing for children in rain or heat.
