The Museum of Technology is on Kuninkaankartanonsaari near Vanhankaupunginkoski, inside old waterworks buildings. Its permanent exhibitions look at technology, industry, everyday life, and the future. For children, the clearest draw is the Ghost Invention Machine, where technology is explored by trying things out and seeing how things work.

- Practical notes
- The museum is on an island near Vanhankaupunginkoski. The main exhibition hall is the yellow round building, which also has the info desk and customer service. During park renovation work, the museum’s own parking spaces are not in use, and the official page points visitors to parking at Jokisuuntie.
- Opening-hours notes
- Official opening hours: Mon closed, Tue 11:00–17:00, Wed–Thu 11:00–20:00, Fri 11:00–17:00, Sat 11:00–18:00, and Sun 11:00–17:00. Check exceptional hours before going.
- Booking notes
- Booking is usually not needed for a normal museum visit. Guided tours, workshops, birthday parties, and group visits are booked separately.
- Price notes
- Paid museum. The official page lists tickets as adults €15, children aged 7–17 €7, children aged 0–6 free, and a family ticket €32 for two adults and three children. Thursdays are Pay What You Want days.
- Age notes
- Best for children around 5–12. The hands-on parts may also interest younger children, but some exhibitions need slower exploring and adult explanation.
- Seasonal notes
- Works year-round. Moving around the island can be less convenient in bad weather or during renovation work.
- Weather notes
- A good rainy-day and cold-day option during the museum visit itself, but getting there includes a short outdoor approach on the island.
