Mustikkamaa beach is a soft-sand sea beach next to the Mustikkamaa outdoor recreation area. The island can be reached by bridge from both Kalasatama and Kulosaari, and the walk from the metro stations takes about 30 minutes. In the summer season, the beach has lifeguard supervision, changing shelter, shower, toilets, a container kiosk, exercise equipment, and an outdoor gym.

- Accessibility
- The accessibility information says the 4 accessible parking spaces are over 200 m from the beach, and the pick-up/drop-off point is also over 200 m away. The route to the beach is smooth and wide enough crushed rock or sand, but it has a steep slope and at least 4 steps. The toilet is marked accessible but does not meet all requirements.

- Practical notes
- The beach is about a 30-minute walk from Kalasatama and Kulosaari metro stations. There is a car park on the Sports Park side at Mustikkamaantie 10, but it is not wheelchair accessible. Water temperature and blue-green algae information should be checked through ulkoliikunta.fi on the beach day.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 beach season has ended. Dates and hours for summer 2027 services will be announced later. Check the City of Helsinki page before visiting.
- Booking notes
- A normal beach visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- The beach is free. Container kiosk purchases cost extra.
- Age notes
- The soft sand and outdoor-recreation-area setting suit many child ages. Young children need constant adult supervision near the water.
- Seasonal notes
- The best season is the summer beach season, when supervision and beach services operate.
- Weather notes
- A beach day depends on weather, water temperature, wind, and blue-green algae conditions.
