A visit to Myllykoski follows the banks and rapids of the Vantaanjoki. Information boards on the roughly two-kilometre Koskikara nature trail introduce riverside birds. There are also designated fire sites. The banks have a history of mills and Nurmijärvi's first power station.

- On the approach from Kirkonkylä, the section beyond Pikkukoski is unsuitable for strollers or cycling. Step-free access throughout the rapids area or the Koskikara circuit has not been confirmed.

- Drivers can use the car park along Siippoontie, beyond the motorway junction towards Siippoo. Firewood is not always available, and deliveries stop in midwinter. Fires are prohibited during a wildfire warning.
