At Nukarinkoski, the Vantaanjoki flows through rural scenery and wooded banks. The stretch of rapids is about 1.3 kilometres long, with walking paths of different lengths beside it. A bridge crosses the river at the Nukarin tammi dam, and paths also lead downstream to Harrikoski bridge. There is a lean-to shelter and designated fire sites along the route.
