Accessibility
The reindeer park is in rocky forest terrain. From the parking area, the route follows a wide boardwalk for about 60 metres, but there is a short uphill section and steps. The organiser says the area is not accessible and is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Practical notes
The public area is fairly small, and about one hour is enough for a normal visit. The reindeer are not petted; visitors can feed them with food provided by the organiser. In hot weather the reindeer may rest in the shade, and not every reindeer may be visible. Dogs are not allowed in the park, and outside food is not allowed during public opening hours.
Opening-hours notes
In 2026, public opening hours are usually Wednesdays 17:00-19:00 and Saturdays and Sundays 12:00-15:00. December and private bookings may bring exceptions, so check the current calendar before going.
Booking notes
Tickets can be bought from the online store or on site by card. The online-store receipt is the admission ticket. Groups of more than 10 people must make a private reservation, and advance online purchase is recommended in December.
Price notes
Public-opening admission is EUR 26 for adults, EUR 14 for children aged 4-11 and EUR 64 for a family ticket covering 2 adults and 1-2 children. Children under 4 enter free. The ticket includes lichen or green branches for feeding the reindeer plus a drink and bun in the kota hut. Sausages, the amethyst pass and private visits cost extra.
Age notes
Suitable for many child ages when an adult is with them. The visit works best for children who enjoy watching animals, feeding them and taking a campfire break.
Seasonal notes
The reindeer park is open year-round during public opening hours or as a private visit booked in advance. The experience changes by season: summer may include stick-bun baking, while in December the drink service may switch to glögi and gingerbread cookies.
Weather notes
The visit is outdoors, and the organiser says the park is open year-round in all weather. Dress for forest terrain and the weather; rain, frost, heat and slippery conditions affect the visit.
