Oittaa is an outdoor recreation area and supervised summer beach at the southern end of Lake Bodom. For families, it combines a beach day with an Angry Birds park, a 4,4 km lit trail, an approximately 2 km nature trail, beach-volley courts, and a recreation centre with café-restaurant and sauna services. - The city accessibility information says there are 3 accessible parking spaces over 100 m from the beach, a wide guided fine-crushed-rock or sand route leads to the beach, and a ramp with handrails leads into the water. The beach has an accessible toilet, accessible swimming pier, and spacious outdoor shower, but the dressing-room doorway has a high threshold.

- The official page says toilets in the changing-room building are open daily 6:00-20:00. Indoor changing rooms are opened for public use when the weather is warm enough. Smoking is prohibited on all Espoo beaches.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 lifeguard season ran 4.6.–16.8. from 10:00–20:00 and has ended. Bathing-water samples are recorded during the summer season 15.6.–31.8.; Oittaa is an EU beach. Check the next summer's lifeguard hours in current city information and on the beach notice board.
- Booking notes
- A normal beach visit does not require booking. Check sauna, event, group, and recreation-centre service availability separately.
- Price notes
- The beach and outdoor recreation area are free. The café-restaurant, sauna, and possible equipment or other services cost extra.
- Age notes
- Suitable for many child ages when adults supervise swimming constantly. The playground and short routes help if not everyone wants to stay in the water for the whole visit.
- Seasonal notes
- Swimming and beach services are summer-season activities. The recreation-area routes can be used at other times depending on weather and maintenance.
- Weather notes
- Best in warm and calm weather. In rain or thunder, postpone the beach day, and wind can make the Lake Bodom shore feel cool.
