Päivättärenpolku circles the Haltia and Solvalla area on the edge of Nuuksio National Park. The route follows forest terrain and local fitness paths, with information boards about Nuuksio nature. Although the trail is short at about 1.4 km, it has elevation changes: from the starting point, there is a steeper climb east of the Solvalla sports field, and there are roots near the end. A short detour leads to the top of the Solvalla ski slope, with a view over the Nuuksio fault-line valley and Lake Pitkäjärvi.

Accessibility
This is not an accessible wheelchair route. Luontoon describes the trail as wide, sand-surfaced, and suitable for prams, but it also has steep hills and roots near the end. With a stroller, it works best in good weather and with a sturdy all-terrain stroller.

Practical notes
The route starts and ends at Haltia parking area, beside the area map at Haltia Gate. It is marked with cone symbols and a pink square, and can be walked in either direction. The distance can be shortened slightly by turning left after the mire. Along the route there is the Aarnituli reservable campfire site, a dry toilet, and a water point at Haltia; use of the campfire site is reserved separately through Haltia Shop. There are no waste bins on the trail.
Opening-hours notes
The route has no set opening hours. The trail has no winter maintenance, and in winter part of it is used as a ski track. Fires are allowed only at the reserved Aarnituli campfire site when current warnings allow it.
Booking notes
A self-guided walk does not require booking. The Aarnituli campfire site is reserved separately through Haltia Shop.
Price notes
Walking the nature trail is free. Haltia services, restaurants, and the Aarnituli reservable campfire site may have separate costs.
Age notes
For walking children, the route works best around ages 5-12, when the hills and short forest sections are manageable. With younger children, it can work with a stroller or as a slow short outing if the steeper sections suit the family.
Seasonal notes
Best during snow-free conditions. In winter, the route is not maintained for walking, and the section used as a ski track should not be used as a walking route.
Weather notes
Dry weather is best. In rain or ice, the steep sections and roots can be slippery.
