- Accessibility
- The accessibility information says there are no accessible parking spaces by the beach, and the nearest car park and pick-up/drop-off point are over 50 m away. The route to the beach is smooth and wide enough crushed rock or sand, but it has a steep slope. The toilet is marked accessible but does not meet all requirements, and the toilet, changing room, and sauna entrances have at least 4 steps.

- Practical notes
- The beach is about a 20-minute walk from Oulunkylä train station, and there is a car park nearby. Swimming at Vantaa River beaches is not recommended during heavy rain, because water quality can temporarily deteriorate. Check water temperature, blue-green algae status, and any restrictions on the beach day.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 beach season has ended. Dates and hours for summer 2027 services will be announced later. Check the City of Helsinki page before visiting.
- Booking notes
- A normal beach visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- A beach visit is free. Check the current season and times separately for any free sauna shifts.
- Age notes
- The lawns, sand, and game courts suit many child ages. The quickly deepening river water and possible currents make constant adult supervision especially important.
- Seasonal notes
- The best season is the summer beach season, when supervision and beach services operate.
- Weather notes
- A beach day depends on weather, water temperature, currents, and blue-green algae conditions. Swimming at Vantaa River beaches is not recommended during heavy rain.
