Helsingin Suunnistajat's STARTTI routes are made for families and people new to orienteering. The Uutela route stays mainly close to paths and has five controls, plus a start and finish. You can visit the controls in numerical order, pick individual ones, or do only part of the route.

- The route follows paths, but the controls are mainly just off the paths or at path junctions. The organiser says that most controls in the series are close to outdoor routes, but detailed accessibility information has not been published for this route.

- The start is near Uutelantie by the car park, and the finish is near the Uutelantie and Nuottaniementie junction. Download the free map from the official STARTTI routes page to print or use on a phone. Café Kampela is near the car park, start and finish.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 controls remain in place until the end of the year. The route is self-guided and has no separate staffed opening hours.

- No booking is needed. You can follow the route at your own pace while the controls are in place.

- The route is designed for families and people new to orienteering. Reading the map and finding controls are especially suited to preschool and school-age children with an adult.
