Träskända nature trail loops through an old manor park and nature reserve in Järvenperä. On a short outing, families can explore manor garden history, lush herb-rich woodland, and more than 30 domestic and foreign tree and shrub species marked with signs. The nature reserve has two trails of about 1 km each, so the walk can be kept manageable with children.

- Accessibility
- The City of Espoo page describes the route as easy and suitable for prams, but not wheelchair accessible. Service Map details add that the approximately 1 km manor park section has an easy crushed-stone surface, while the park forest route follows natural-surface paths and is demanding in places.

- Practical notes
- According to the City of Espoo page, the starting point is Kuninkaantie 43. The total length is about 2 km, and the nature reserve has two trails of about 1 km each. The nature trail is a short walk from the Träskända Manor, Träskändanristi, Auroranportti, Heiniemenpolku, and Tammihaantie stops.
- Opening-hours notes
- The nature trail has no set opening hours. City of Espoo nature trails are not maintained in winter and do not have waste management. Open fires and camping are not allowed on nature trails.
- Booking notes
- A self-guided visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- Walking the nature trail is free.
- Age notes
- Works for a pram outing on the easier manor park sections and for children around 3-10 as a short nature-and-history walk. With younger children, choose only the easiest park section.
- Seasonal notes
- Best during snow-free times, especially when using the easy park paths with a pram. In winter, the route is not maintained, so paths can be snowy or slippery.
- Weather notes
- The short park route suits many weather conditions, but natural-surface sections can be muddy or slippery in wet weather. The shaded park also works well on warm days.
