Tuorinniemi beach is a sandy beach next to the Herttoniemenranta coastal area, where the water generally deepens evenly. On the eastern side, however, the water gets deeper more quickly. In the summer season, the beach has lifeguard supervision, changing room, shower, toilets, a fairway for light water traffic, outdoor gym equipment, and a children's playground.

- Accessibility
- The accessibility information says there are no accessible parking spaces by the beach, and the nearest car park and pick-up/drop-off point are over 100 m away. The route to the beach is smooth and wide enough crushed rock or sand. There is no accessible toilet on the beach, only an outhouse. The changing-room entrance has at least 4 steps, a handrail on one side, a heavy door, and a high threshold.

- Practical notes
- There is no car park close to the beach. You can arrive by public transport or city bike. Check water temperature, blue-green algae status, and any restrictions on the beach day through ulkoliikunta.fi and Helsinki's swimming water quality page.
- Opening-hours notes
- The 2026 beach season has ended. Dates and hours for summer 2027 services will be announced later. Check the City of Helsinki page before visiting.
- Booking notes
- A normal beach visit does not require booking.
- Price notes
- The beach is free.
- Age notes
- The sand, playground, and outdoor gym equipment suit many child ages. The faster deepening on the eastern side requires especially close adult supervision near the water.
- Seasonal notes
- The best season is the summer beach season, when supervision and beach services operate.
- Weather notes
- A beach day depends on weather, water temperature, wind, and blue-green algae conditions.
