The sports-centre pond combines swimming with a play stop. A large jetty encloses swimming lanes, while the shore has a play area, fixed beach loungers and a bench. The shoreline slopes gently, but the water beside the jetty is already about 2 metres deep and reaches about 5 metres in the middle of the pond.
