The autumn term at the Finnish National Ballet School culminates in a new production of The Nutcracker. Almi Hall brings together pupils from the youngest schoolchildren to vocational dance students, as the teachers’ new version of the classic premieres at Christmas 2026.

The accessible entrance is on the Töölönlahti bay side at Oopperankuja 2. Almi Hall has accessible seats reserved through customer service and reached by a dedicated lift. Accessible toilets are available in the Opera House foyers.

Practical notes
Access to Almi Hall is through the Oopperankuja entrance on the Töölönlahti bay side. The stage is about one metre high, so the front rows are not recommended with small children. Cloakrooms, toilets and Opera Restaurant service counters are in the foyers.

The estimated duration is 1 hour 40 minutes including one 25-minute interval. The final duration will be specified during the premiere week.
Booking notes
A ticket is required. Choose seats through the Opera and Ballet ticket sales before going.
Price notes
Standard tickets cost EUR 31. A EUR 22 discount ticket is for children and young people aged 20 and under, students, military or non-military service members and unemployed people; pensioner tickets cost EUR 28.
Age notes
The official age recommendation is 4+.
