At Children's Medicine Day, children and adults can try the roles of doctor and researcher. Bring a stuffed toy for HUS's Teddy Bear Hospital. The day also includes an ambulance, a fire truck, guide dogs, a children's medicine quiz, and science, play and creative workshops. The programme includes food-senses activities, handwashing and light workshops, a space-sunscreen workshop for ages 9+, planetarium films and an opportunity to meet the guide dog Rudi. Some programme is in Finnish.

Exhibition spaces can be reached with strollers and wheelchairs, and loan wheelchairs are available from customer service. An assistant or support person enters free with the required proof or card. The exact accessibility of event points in the outdoor Science Park Galilei has not been published separately.

- No separate advance registration is listed for the event. Heureka admission can be bought online or on site. Planetarium places are reserved on the event day through the QR code shown in front of the planetarium.

- The day is included in normal Heureka admission. Online tickets cost €23 for adults and €16 for ages 5–17; on-site prices are €26 and €19. Under-fives enter free. Museum Card, Heureka Club Card, Kaiku Card and Heureka free tickets are accepted. The optional print-your-own-medical-badge workshop costs €2, paid on site by card or MobilePay.
- Age notes
- The day is for the whole family and has no general age recommendation. The space-sunscreen workshop is recommended for ages 9+, and the planetarium has a minimum age of 5.
