EMMA’s Open Art Workshops invite visitors to try different materials and ways of making art over six Saturdays. The programme includes momentary sculptures from everyday objects, palette-knife painting, modelling, a collaborative rya-inspired yarn piece, playful drawing challenges and a large salt mandala. Families can drop in according to their own schedule and make art together.

- WeeGee’s main entrance is accessible, the doors on the left open automatically, and a spacious lift reaches both workshop floors. EMMA’s routes are threshold-free, with an accessible toilet on every floor. Wheelchairs and walkers can be borrowed at the entrance, and visitors can ask staff for a quiet room or earplugs. The event pages do not describe table heights, seated working arrangements or individual assistance at the workshop stations; confirm these with EMMA in advance if they affect participation.

- The workshops on 2026-09-05, 2026-09-12, 2026-09-19, 2026-10-03 and 2026-10-10 are on the second floor. The Delightful Tufts workshop on 2026-09-26 is on the first floor. Workshops run non-stop from 13:00–15:00.

- No advance registration is needed; visitors can drop into the non-stop workshop at any time from 13:00–15:00. EMMA does not state a workshop capacity or queuing policy, so immediate access to a work station may depend on visitor numbers.
- Price notes
- There is no separate workshop fee; participation is included in WeeGee museum admission. Admission is EUR 20 for adults over 29, EUR 10 with a discount, and free for visitors under 18. The Museum Card is accepted.
- Age notes
- The workshops are suitable for all ages. Children participate with a responsible adult, while adults may also attend without a child.
