- Glims is a historic museum site. The area has two accessible parking spaces and an accessible-marked toilet, but routes are uneven, the entrance has steps and thresholds, and some buildings are not step-free. Check the route in advance if accessibility or stroller movement is important.

- The demonstration is part of the museum visit. The theme changes by date, and in some sessions visitors can follow the work freely during their museum visit.

- Themes change by session. The current programme includes willow whistles, sauerkraut, cheese making, herb pestos, carving, band weaving, bobbin lace, wooden spinning tops, rya weaving, Tunisian crochet, coffee grinding, whisks, filet crochet, birch-bark rings, natural dyeing and plant cords.

- Participation with museum admission. Adult ticket 6 euros, reduced ticket 3 euros, and free admission for under-18s. Free admission for everyone on Wednesdays. Kaikukortti and the Finnish Museum Card are accepted.
