Prince Hamlet learns of a murder from his father’s ghost and resolves to take revenge. The ballet follows power, grief and revenge to music by Tchaikovsky and Saint-Saëns. This long, tragic performance is an outing for an older child interested in ballet and an accompanying adult, taking the age recommendation into account.
