During Helsinki Design Week’s children’s weekend, families can move between independent drop-in workshops around Kaapeliaukio and Turbiinisali at their own pace. At Aalto Junior, children make a virtual pet from recycled materials and technology. Kulosaaren Art School offers fashion drawing, while Arkki’s low-threshold architecture workshop invites children to build with scissors and other tools. The youngest children take part in Arkki’s activity with an adult.
