Stoa Square fills with circus on Helsinki Day as Pro sirkus ry hosts a preview celebration for Helsinki Circus Festival. The two-hour programme combines traditional circus atmosphere with modern performing arts: expect acrobatics, juggling, aerial work, street circus and participatory tricks. Listed performers include Blind Gut Company, Olli Vuorinen from Nuua Company, Kalle Lehto from Race Horse Company, Haidi Ilona from Fragile collective, and host-performer Leo Kaipiainen. The festival atmosphere on the square is rounded out with bubbles, popcorn and circus-themed craft workshops.
