Helsinki Pride week culminates on Saturday with a parade from Senate Square toward Kaivopuisto. The parade is a colourful and loud demonstration for equality, open to everyone who wants to support rainbow rights. For families, it works best when children can handle a busy city-centre event, walking, pauses and very large crowds.

- Accessibility
- The organiser lists accessible joining points at Esplanade Park by Kasarmikatu and at Vuorimiehenpuistikko on Neitsytpolku. Senate Square has two accessible portable toilets, but the square will have many people and parade trucks. A calmer walking block gathers in Esplanade Park at 13:00 and joins at about 13:15; it is calmer than the main parade but not genuinely sensory-calm.

- Practical notes
- Gathering at Senate Square starts at 11:00. The parade starts moving at 12:00, and the front of the parade reaches Kaivopuisto from about 13:00. Entry to Senate Square is via Unioninkatu; the organiser recommends public transport and says traffic around Senate Square closes at 11:15.
- Schedule notes
- Gathering at Senate Square starts at 11:00. The parade leaves at 12:00 along the route Senate Square - Snellmaninkatu - Aleksanterinkatu - Mannerheimintie - Eteläesplanadi - Kasarmikatu - Neitsytpolku - Kaivopuisto. The front of the parade reaches Kaivopuisto from about 13:00. The calmer walking block gathers in Esplanade Park at 13:00 and joins the parade at about 13:15.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is needed for the public parade. Pre-registered groups leave first, and the open block for everyone leaves after the last parade truck.
- Price notes
- Joining or watching the parade is free. Paid sales or terrace services may be available at Senate Square.
- Age notes
- The event is open to everyone. The large parade is best for school-age children and teens, or families used to crowded city-centre events. With younger children, plan a shorter viewing moment along the route and your own way out.
