Herttoniemi Village Festival celebrates the reopening of the renewed sports park. The programme includes races for ages 4–12, junior-team exhibition matches, a shot-speed radar and opportunities to try the sports facilities. Families can also enjoy a show by Clown Duo Milou & Kaas, crafts, face painting, a bouncy castle, a prize wheel, and library and fire engines. DJ RNo provides the music.

- Event-specific accessibility, access to the bouncy castle and races, viewing areas and toilets are not described. The sports park has a parking area, but car spaces are very limited during the event.

- A grill and Café Potku sell coffee, soft drinks, savoury food and sweets. Prefer walking, cycling or public transport; Siilitie metro station is nearby and car parking is very limited. No bad-weather plan is published for the outdoor programme.
- Schedule notes
- Opening speeches begin at 10:00, the junior exhibition match at 10:20, children's races at 11:00, the fire engine is present from 12:00–14:00, Clown Duo Milou & Kaas performs at 12:40, and race prizes are awarded at 13:30. The programme may change.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is needed for the festival. Register for the children's race on site from 10:00–11:00.
- Price notes
- Admission is free. Food, drinks, fan merchandise and raffle entries may cost extra.
- Age notes
- The festival is for all ages. The children's 60-metre race is for ages 4–12, with age-group categories and an open category.
