At the Baltic Sea Festival, families can move between 15 themed tents at Kansalaistori, try games and quizzes, look through a microscope and explore an aquarium. The day begins with a Baltic Sea carnival procession, and the children's stage at Kansalaistori has music-theatre moments and children's discos. The programme also reaches Oodi, Musiikkitalo and Finlandia Hall, with ways to discover Baltic Sea nature, research, culture and conservation.

The children's programme at Kansalaistori runs from 11.00 to 16.00, while the festival continues until 18.00. The procession leaves Kansalaistori at 11.30 and is expected back around 12.30.
