Baltic Sea Day brings a day of marine-nature programme to Pentala's museum area. Families can explore the Baltic Sea through microscopes in an afternoon workshop, see Pekka Tuuri's nature photographs and an algae exhibition produced with researcher Sonja Repetti, and join the sheep feeding, pasture visit, and Finnish-language tours of Gurli's House.

- The Pentala museum area is only partly accessible. The island can be reached from the scheduled boat by a movable ramp, but the area has sand paths, a gentle uphill route, stairs, and high thresholds. Gurli's House has no barrier-free access. The museum area has an accessible toilet and childcare room.

- Pentala is an island. On Thursday, the last scheduled boat leaves Pentala at 17:20, 20 minutes after the museum closes. Weather and passenger numbers can affect the timetable, so check both the outward and return connections before leaving.
- Schedule notes
- The day programme runs from 10:00 to 17:00. Gurli's House tours are at 10:30 and 14:00, sheep feeding is at 11:00, the microscope workshop is from 14:30 to 16:30, and the pasture visit is at 15:30.

- No event-specific advance registration is listed. Gurli's House tours take up to 10 people in registration order; up to four same-day places can be reserved by phone from 10:00 to 15:00.

- Baltic Sea Day and entry to the museum area are free. Regular admission to Gurli's House costs EUR 10 for adults and EUR 8 for discounted groups; visitors under 18 enter free. The archipelago boat costs separately: a Pentala return ticket is EUR 7, a discounted ticket is EUR 3.50, and children under 7 travel free with an adult.
