Children and families make UV light artworks such as lanterns and drawings for Pyykkitupa’s windows. The Children’s Rights Week theme is “Every Child Is Valuable”, and children’s own stories and wishes become part of the pieces. On Wednesday, Hakunila Parish also runs a reflector workshop where children make their own reflector and discuss moving safely in the dark.

- The workshop runs as a continuous drop-in activity, and the play room is open for play. The artworks are illuminated after dark with UV spotlights through the end of Children’s Rights Week on 2026-11-22. The lighting schedule will be published on Pyykkitupa’s event-calendar page.

- The drop-in workshop runs on 2026-10-14, 2026-10-15 and 2026-10-16 from 10:00 to 15:00. Hakunila Parish’s reflector workshop is available only during the UV workshop on 2026-10-14.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is needed. The workshop can accommodate at most 23 people at a time.
- Age notes
- No exact age recommendation has been published. Children below school age take part with their own adult. School-age children may attend without an adult, but this is not a childcare service.
