Each of Pyykkitupa's December Children's Saturdays features a different seasonal craft. The first workshop makes Christmas cards from recycled materials. The second introduces the octahedron, the basic form used in a himmeli, and participants build a small himmeli mobile. The third draws inspiration from winter nature to make a sparkling embossed ornament. The art instructor is Aino Malinen.

- Pyykkitupa describes its indoor space as accessible. The main entrance has steps and a ramp less than 6 metres long. An accessible toilet on the entrance floor also serves as a baby-care room. There is 1 accessible parking space beside Pyykkitupa. Workshop furniture and attendance may affect movement through the room. Reasonable adaptations can be arranged in advance at pyykkitupa@vantaa.fi.

- The workshops run continuously from 10:00 to 13:00, so families can join during the event. The workshop space can hold at most 23 participants at a time, and the playroom about 10 people. Strollers are left outdoors without a shelter; rain covers can be borrowed. The car park is accessed from the corner of Kartanontie and Vuorilehdontie, but the organiser recommends public transport, cycling or walking. Food and drink can be bought at the nearby Café-Restaurant Håkans.
