Herkkutupa begins at Håkansböle Manor Museum with a guided look at girls’ and women’s lives, work and everyday experiences through different periods. The group then moves to Children’s Cultural Centre Pyykkitupa for treat-themed art and decorating real muffins. The event celebrates the International Day of the Girl and is open to everyone.

- The route between the buildings crosses gravel paths on the manor grounds, and weather can affect their condition. The museum’s accessible entrance is to the right of the main entrance and uses a doorbell, lift and wheelchair platform lift; the first floor is accessible, but the second floor is reached only by stairs. Both buildings have an accessible toilet. Accessible parking is available on the manor grounds, including one space beside Pyykkitupa.
