At the Finnish Aviation Museum's June Children's Sunday, the museum's mascot Simppa is getting ready for a first trip abroad. Children help Simppa learn about world cultures, nature, and sights by playing board games. After the game sessions, families can plan a travel route for Simppa and continue the day with crafts, Simppa orienteering, and the museum exhibitions.

- Schedule notes
- The museum day runs 10:00-17:00. The game session for ages 5-10 starts at 11:00 and lasts about one hour. The game session for ages 8-12 starts at 13:30 and lasts about one hour. Crafts, Simppa orienteering, and exhibition visits are self-guided throughout the day.
- Booking notes
- Advance sign-ups are accepted for both game sessions, and each session has room for six children. If space remains, children can also join on the event day without advance sign-up. More details are available from the museum customer service.
