In Pyykkitupa's summer art workshop, participants make a suncatcher from beads and wire with guidance from an art instructor. The finished suncatcher can be hung in a bright place, such as a window, to reflect sunlight. The workshop is a nonstop drop-in session: families can come according to their own schedule, Pyykkitupa provides all materials, and no previous experience is needed.

Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- Guidance is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The tables fit 23 people at a time, and the play room fits about 10 people. The workshop uses beads and wire, so younger participants need support from an adult.
- Schedule notes
- The workshops are nonstop drop-in sessions on Wednesday 29.7 and Thursday 30.7 at 09:30-12:00.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is needed.
- Age notes
- The age recommendation is over 5 years. School-age children may come without their own adult, but this is not a childcare service. Children under school age take part under their own adult's supervision.
