On Kiasma's June free admission day, entry to the exhibitions is free throughout the museum's opening hours. The clearest family-friendly parts are the drawing cart in the exhibition A Dream in Four Colours, where visitors can borrow drawing supplies and get ideas from a guide, and the 5th-floor In A Dream World workshop, where visitors make a collaborative drawing with coloured pencils, watercolour pencils and painting. The day also includes guide tips for exploring the exhibitions, a live activation of Jani Ruscica's artwork Flatlands, and open guided tours.

- Practical notes
- The programme is spread across several floors: the drawing cart is on the 3rd floor, the In A Dream World workshop is on the 5th floor, and guided tours leave from the lobby. Backpacks, large bags, umbrellas, wet coats, water bottles and snacks should be left in the cloakroom or lockers before entering the galleries.
- Schedule notes
- The museum is open from 10:00-20:00. The drawing cart runs 10:30-14:30, Ask the guide runs 10:00-12:00, Flatlands is activated 11:00-11:45, and the In A Dream World workshop runs 16:00-19:00. Open guided tours are at 16:00 in Easy Finnish and Finnish Sign Language, at 17:00 in Finnish and Russian, and at 18:00 in English and Swedish.
- Booking notes
- No advance booking is listed for the exhibitions, drawing cart or open art workshop. For the open guided tours, sign up at the info desk; each tour has a maximum of 20 participants. The Finnish Sign Language tour has a separate sign-up link.
- Age notes
- This free admission day is not a separate children's event, but drawing and the open workshop can suit children who enjoy exploring art with an adult. Kiasma notes that some contemporary artworks may feel dramatic or otherwise challenging for young children.
