Kids Run Helsinki Trail gives children their own trail run as part of the Helsinki Trail Run evening. Under-7s have a 500 m distance and older children have a 1000 m distance. Every child who finishes receives a medal. The children's starts take place before the adult 10 km and 21.1 km Helsinki Trail Run starts, so the event suits families where a child wants to try a short race atmosphere on trails.

Pirkkola Sports Park has sports-park services, parking areas and a café by the swimming hall, but event-specific toilet, baby-changing or accessibility arrangements had not been published.

- The Kids Run starts are at Pirkkola Sports Park. The race office is at Pirkkola Sports Park on event day, at Pirkkolan metsätie 6, and children's bib numbers are picked up there. The Kids Run Helsinki page says the exact start point will be announced closer to the event, so check the organiser's page before going.
- Schedule notes
- The preliminary start times are 17.30 for Kids Run 500 m and 17.45 for Kids Run 1000 m. The adult Helsinki Trail Run starts at 18.30.
- Booking notes
- Advance registration is through Eventilla. The organiser lists the advance price through 10.6., and Eventilla sales end early on 11.6.; check the booking page for the live cutoff. Late registration is possible at the race office on event day, but the race office does not take cash.

- Kids Run participation costs 15 euros in advance. The listed late-registration price is 20 euros.

- The organiser says Kids Run is open to children of all ages. The distances are split into 500 m for under-7s and 1000 m for older children. It is best for children who can manage a short outdoor route with support from their own adult.
