Accessibility
Korkeasaaris accessibility information describes an accessible entrance building and mostly accessible or nearly accessible areas, but the island has hills and steep ascents. Almost all roads are wide and paved. The event's illuminated route and any access restrictions may affect route choice.

Plan your visit

Practical notes
Arrive well before dusk. After dark, only the illuminated route is in use, and access to Cat Valley may be restricted or made one-way if needed.
Schedule notes
Entry is from 16:00–21:00 and the zoo closes at 23:00. Information stations run mainly from 16:00–21:00, face painting and the bracelet workshop from 16:30–22:30, conservation bingo at 17:30, 18:30 and 19:30, hosted feedings and talks at 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:00 and 21:00, the DJ from 18:00–23:00, and fire shows at 21:15 and 22:15.
