The Kohti tuntematonta family day brings programme into Vuotalo's gallery around an exhibition based on Pasi Pitkänen's illustrations. Families can meet the illustrator, watch him draw in the exhibition space, make a badge and try a collage workshop. In the workshop, participants draw, cut and tear paper to create strange creatures and magical snakes. The storytime features Pitkänen's adventure book Kadonneiden eläinten saari, and books illustrated by him can be borrowed from the exhibition space.
