Helsinki offers children and young people a free swim on Children’s Day. At Yrjönkatu, the offer covers floor 1 only. Friday’s women-only admission rules apply; this is not an unrestricted family swimming session. There is no children’s pool. One accompanying guardian per child is admitted free.

- The entrance has 3 cm thresholds. A lift reaches the changing level, but three steps lead from there to the pool level. Pool steps are gradual. Heated pram storage is available on the entrance floor. Confirm equipment and assistance arrangements with the hall.

- The main entrance is in the courtyard. Visits are limited to 2 hours. Swimwear is optional; photography is prohibited. Second-floor services are outside the free offer. The wood-fired sauna is currently unavailable.

- Free admission begins at 14 and ends at 20. Swimming ends at 20.30; leave the hall by 21. The event window is not the length of an individual visit.

- Separate reservation arrangements and remaining capacity have not been stated. Check participation arrangements with the hall if needed.
- Price notes
- Admission is free for children under 18 and one accompanying guardian per child. Other adults pay the normal admission fee of €6. Optional purchases are not included.
- Age notes
- The free offer covers children under 18 subject to women-only day admission rules. Swimming ability of at least 25 metres is required. Children under 10 need a swimming-capable companion aged at least 15. Check your group’s admission with the hall if needed.
