- Accessibility
- Malmitalo's main entrance and lobby are accessible, indoor public areas can be used by wheelchair users and the second floor is reachable by lift. Public toilets are in the lobby, with accessible toilets in the main lobby and on the second-floor classroom corridor. Because the event also spreads onto the square, weather, crowds and exact activity locations may affect moving with prams or mobility aids.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The programme is split between the area near Malmitalo's entrance and Ala-Malmi Square. Some points are indoors or by the building steps, while others are outdoors on the square and container stage. No rain or weather plan for the outdoor points has been stated.
- Schedule notes
- The library reading oasis runs 10.00-16.00 by the Malmitalo steps. The swimming-skill point and ball pool run 11.00-15.00. Ala-Malmi Square has games and play from 12.00-16.00 and workshops from 12.00-14.00. The joyful family music playschool is on the container stage at 13.00-13.30 and Rokkasoppa at 14.00-14.45. The structured source end time is 14.45, but the programme text lists some drop-in points as continuing until 16.00.
- Booking notes
- Entry is free. No advance registration is listed for the main programme or workshops.
- Age notes
- The event is for the whole family, with the programme centred on children. The family music playschool, ball pool, games and play activities suit younger children especially, while the workshops may require adult help for the smallest children.
