- The museum entrance is on the park side. Leave outdoor strollers outside the museum; indoor strollers and wheel covers for young babies' prams can be borrowed. Remove or cover shoes.

- The listed Friday sessions run 14:00–16:00 and can each be visited independently. Special events may replace the usual workshop; check the museum programme before visiting. Finnish is the listed programme language; guidance in English or Swedish is unconfirmed.

- The workshop is included in museum admission: adults €15, concessions €7 and ages 2–17 €5. Under-2s and personal assistants enter free; Museum Card and Kaikukortti are accepted. Museum admission is free for everyone on Friday 20 November.
- Age notes
- The museum welcomes children over 3 years old. Preschool children need a companion aged at least 15. Schoolchildren under 12 visiting alone leave an adult's contact details at the desk.
