At the Baltic Sea shore adventure in Lapinlahti, families can visit different activity points and get to know the sea before the official Baltic Sea Day. At Tringa's bird point, visitors can observe Baltic Sea birds with help from a guide and practise identifying them. The event also includes a story-like children's task route, an aquatic-bug point, an algae point and other sea and nature-themed programme.

- Accessibility
- The Baltic Sea Day event page gives conflicting accessibility information: the programme text says the event is mostly accessible, but the event details say there is no accessible entry. Outdoor shore conditions, weather and event arrangements can affect movement.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The event is outdoors in the Lapinlahti shore area. Bring binoculars for the bird point if you have them. The programme is weather-dependent, and a paid sauna plus swimming opportunity are arranged separately during the event.
- Schedule notes
- The event is on Saturday 22.8.2026 from 12:00-15:00. The children's Itämeren sankarit task route starts at 12:30 and 14:30.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration or ticket purchase is mentioned.
- Price notes
- The event is free. The sauna available during the event is separately paid.
- Age notes
- The event is aimed at the whole family, and the Baltic Sea Day page marks it as suitable for children. The bird point works best for children who can pause for a while to look and listen for birds with their own adult.
