In Kellokoski in the summer of 1951, 11-year-old Hilkka befriends a Karelian teenage boy who does not speak. Their friendship opens a story about family ties, nature and overcoming difficulties. Written and composed by Hanni Autere and directed by Kirsi Jokela, the musical brings together professional musicians and amateur actors of different ages. The dialogue also includes the old local dialect of Kellokoski.
