- Accessibility
- The museum area is partly accessible. A movable ramp leads from the scheduled boat to the island, followed by about 100 metres of sand path and a gentle uphill route to the information area. The cafe and toilets have ramps, but weather and conditions at the departure harbour can affect access.

- Practical notes
- Pentala is an island. On Saturday 25.7., the Pentala-route boat arrives at the museum at 12:40 and departs again at 15:20; check your return connection and any weather- or passenger-related changes before leaving.
- Price notes
- The bee event and museum area are free. The archipelago boat costs extra: a Pentala return trip is EUR 7, or EUR 3.50 at the reduced price; children under 7 travel free with a paying adult. Buy the boat ticket on the outward journey.
