In the Sea Creature Rescue Squad, children learn about ocean pollution, changing conditions and lost habitats. Fun, interactive tasks explore small everyday actions that can help protect sea creatures. After completing the activities, visitors can join the rescue squad and become ocean heroes.

- SEA LIFE is wheelchair-accessible, with spacious lifts to ticket sales and the exhibition. Some parts of the exhibition are narrow and uneven. An accessible toilet and baby changing room are at the end of the exhibition. Prams can use the lifts and aisles; alternatively, they may be left at the unattended cloakroom near ticket sales at the family's own risk.

- The activity trail is included in a SEA LIFE visit. Eating and drinking are not allowed in the exhibition, but families may eat their own snacks in designated rooms when available. The shop sells drinks and sweets; the café is currently closed.

- The organiser gives no exact age recommendation for the activities. Ages 4–12 are an editorial estimate based on the interactive conservation tasks; young children attend with their adult.
