At Stoa's clay-modelling workshop, children and adults shape their own imaginary bug from Finnish red clay. The workshop draws inspiration from endangered bugs and animals, especially species living in the Stansvik area, such as moor frogs and flying squirrels. Finished clay creatures can be photographed and left as part of a summer installation in the Luontosuhteita exhibition, or taken home.

- Accessibility
- Stoa's accessibility information lists even indoor and outdoor routes, accessible entrances, an accessible toilet and child-care room, and a lift from the lobby to the second-floor gallery area. The exact Terraario classroom layout and doorway details are not separately confirmed, so families using prams or mobility aids may want to ask staff about the best route and space.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The workshop is in the Terraario classroom on the second floor above Stoa's lobby. The room limits how many people can join at the same time, so families may need to wait if it is busy.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is listed. The number of participants is limited by the available room space.
- Age notes
- The workshop suits all ages. Children under 10 participate with a guardian, and younger children will need adult help with the clay.
