This public tour at the Observatory of Helsinki University Museum Flame introduces astronomy and the history of the Observatory building, completed in 1834. The tour visits the old observation towers and includes a planetarium show about northern constellations and the movement of the night sky.

- Step-free access to the exhibition floor is through the red garden gate at the west end, using door-phone number A1 or calling the museum. The old towers and planetarium included in the tour are not step-free, and the park hill can make arrival harder with a stroller.

- Pay museum admission at the ticket desk before the tour. Choose the registration form for the correct date on the website. The Observatory is on Tähtitorninmäki hill, so allow time for the walk up from public transport.
- Schedule notes
- The same one-hour tour runs on Saturdays 12, 19 and 26 September from 13:00 to 14:00. Each date has its own registration form.
- Booking notes
- Advance registration is required and each tour has room for up to 20 participants. The organiser page has a separate Lyyti form for each date; all three forms were open when checked.
- Price notes
- The tour is included in Observatory admission. Adults EUR 10, reduced ticket EUR 7 and under-18s free. Museum Card holders and members of the University of Helsinki community enter free.
- Age notes
- The organiser says the tour is open to everyone and gives no age limit. The structured range covers children and young people; the 6–14 recommendation is an editorial assessment based on the astronomy and building-history content.
