- Accessibility
- The Harakka ferry is not accessible, but the driver can help lift a pram or light wheelchair aboard if needed. There is an accessible toilet near the island pier, and part of the sandy route can work with a pram. The rocky route sections, steps, hill to the Nature House and nature trails can still be difficult with prams, wheelchairs or mobility aids.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The tour starts in front of the Nature House after the 13.00 ferry has arrived on the island. The ferry departs from Ullanlinnanlaituri pier beside Café Ursula, at Ehrenströmintie 3; raise the white wooden call sign on the pier no later than 5 minutes before departure. Visitors cannot arrive with their own boat or bring dogs. Dress for the weather and bring water or snacks for before or after the tour.
- Schedule notes
- The tour is on Saturday 13.6.2026 from 13.00 to 14.00. In practice, the guided part starts in front of the Nature House after the 13.00 ferry has arrived on Harakka.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is needed. The listed maximum capacity is 30 people, so arrive in good time and make the 13.00 ferry.
- Price notes
- The guided tour is free, but the ferry is paid separately. According to the ferry operator's price list, a Harakka return ticket costs EUR 9 for adults and EUR 6 for children aged 7-17 and retirees; children under 7 travel free. Cash is not accepted.
- Age notes
- The tour is not specifically children's programming, but it can suit school-age children and nature-interested children who can walk calmly and listen to a guide. For younger children, the short ferry ride may be the most exciting part of the outing.
