A Harakka Nature Centre guide takes visitors around the island and talks about Harakka's nature, the Nature Centre, island outings and observing archipelago nature. For families, this is a calm island outing combining a short ferry trip with a guided walk shaped by the island nature and nesting-season route limits.

- Accessibility
- The Harakka ferry is not accessible, but the driver can help lift a pram or light wheelchair aboard if needed. There is an accessible toilet near the pier, and the larger toilet has a baby-changing table. Part of the sandy route can work with a pram, but rocky sections, steps, the hill to the Nature House and nesting-season route limits can make moving around difficult.
Plan your visit
- Practical notes
- The tour starts in front of the Nature House after the 13:00 ferry has arrived on Harakka. The ferry leaves from Ullanlinnanlaituri beside Café Ursula, at Ehrenströmintie 3; raise the white wooden call sign on the pier 5 minutes before departure. Harakka does not have a café, so bring water if needed. Visitors cannot arrive with their own boat or bring dogs.
- Schedule notes
- The remaining summer 2026 Saturday tours are on 11.7, 18.7, 25.7, 1.8, 8.8, 15.8, 22.8 and 29.8 from 13:00 to 14:00.
- Booking notes
- No advance registration is used. The maximum capacity is 30 participants, so arrive in good time and make the 13:00 ferry.
- Price notes
- The guided tour is free, but the ferry is paid separately. A Harakka return trip costs EUR 9 for adults and EUR 6 for children aged 7-17 and retirees. Cash is not accepted; card or MobilePay can be used.
- Age notes
- This is not a children's programme, but an open guided nature tour. It is likely to work best from school age upwards for children who can walk outdoors for an hour with an adult; smaller children may need carrying or other help.
