Opera Box's Giellavealgu celebrates Swedish Day at Vuotalo with a multilingual children's opera. In the performance, an Arctic fox, a bluethroat and a snowy owl search for a shared voice, and the story moves through themes of northern nature, friendship and language. The music draws on Lapland's nature, ethno influences and violin accompaniment. The opera is directed and written by Isa Kortekangas and Ville Salonen, with music by Pessi Jouste and Elias Nieminen.
